Methodology

  • Grey component: volume needed to dilute each pollutant to the local ambient standard. Maximum across pollutants (limiting case).
  • For reach-by-reach downstream analysis (not just annual average), use the QUAL2K engine.
  • Screening estimator. A formal ISO 14046 study requires characterization (AWARE) and verifier review.
